  1. DrSunshine says:

“How can you control something you didn’t create?”

Funny considering Rush is someone who preaches self-determinism and free-will would say something like that. Last I knew no human created himself/herself and has, at least the illusion of, freewill.

  2. Atheous says:

Didn’t the wombats test nukes? I need to fact check that.

  3. Atheous says:

And “Obamalisk”, awesome. I’m jealous. And then when you added “Barak of dawn”, I kind of lost it.

    1. Wally Weaksauce says:

      Agreed. That was brilliant.

  4. Eve Brannon says:

    1. diss0713 says:

We hope you reach your goal. Your group is an inspiration to the secular community. Keep up the great work!

  5. Beth says:

I donated $10. Pony up Cecil.

  6. Greg Anderson says:

I thoroughly enjoy your show and I would like to rate it on ITunes I am having trouble doing that and if you have a link that would make it easier can you please send it to me. Thanks. I also notice that your show is no longer listed under religious/ other. This is how I first discovered your show and I think more people like myself are looking to that category to find like minded podcasts. Just an opinion. Great show

  7. Rick K. says:

Romulo Jimenez “repenting” after he was caught is the total hypocrisy that comes with Christianity, which allows each and every believer to shrug off responsibility and “Give it to the Lord!”

  8. Steven Doyle says:

Not sure how anyone could respect Condaleezza Rice. A liar, a terrible National Security Advisor, and a terrible Secretary of State.

“Instant redemption” is what made the ending of “Return of the Jedi” suck so much.

  9. Mike.K. says:

About the HIV story and Tom saying, “Why can’t you take the pills *and* pray?!?”

I think Tom will find that the people saying “don’t rely on the witchcraft of science” are people who do *not* take the pills. There is no risk to them, so it is easy for them to say with “authority” not to take the pills. If it doesn’t work, then it’s God cleansing the undesirables, and the undesirables may have repented and end up in Heaven.

Conversely, I don’t think you’ll see any obese Southern ministers saying “God wants *me* to stop taking my diabetes medication, and keep enjoying fried bacon and fried butter pie!” It will always be ministers telling “those” people to take the risk of stopping *their* medication.

  10. Mason says:

I fucking lost it at “Mousanto.”

  11. Ian says:

“I’ve never heard anyone saying that we need to exterminate ourselves for the good of the planet”

    You will have now! Enjoy!
