Didn’t the National Park service tweet the National Mall attendance because they administer the National Mall. Rather than a political comment, isn’t announcing usage of the mall part of their job?
They tweeted this:

A retweet comparing Obama and Trump’s inauguration size.
I wouldn’t think that tweeting that would be part of their job.
I’m sure the media asked them which was bigger. Retweeting the image is an easy way to do it.
If it was an image comparing a Wednesday to a Thursday because people kept asking which was the busiest day no one would complain.
