I’ve just listened to the first few of these and I wanted to say that I was stoked to hear you guys weren’t that keen on Richard Dawkins! I was starting to think it was just me. Personally I have always found that his arrogance and rudeness detracts from his arguments but if I say anything remotely negative about him around my Atheist friends they all jump down my throat about it. They’re as blindly defensive of him as some people are about their religion.

If you think Dawkins is arrogant and rude, how did you feel about Hitchens? Because, at least as far as I’m concerned, Dawkins is far more genteel. Not saying I think Hitchens was bad, he was an amazing guy, just saying he was way more on the offense.

Thank you! I’d already listened to all of the “Everyone’s a Critic” episodes in the earlier days of “Cognitive Dissonance,” but was too myopic to download them. Whodathunk I’d be enough of a dickrider to actually want these for posterity?

If Religious Organisations and their minions want to influence government policy on any level then they should be made to pay tax. Atheists and other non believers pay tax so we get to have our opinion. Simple! Refer Fordham Law Review, Religion In Politics and the Income Tax Exemption

So having a good relationship with your father will make your more Christian… So with that theory in mind… What about having a good relationship with TWO fathers? Did gay marriage just get its biggest Christian endorsement!? Perhaps…
